Dr Michael Kelly

Assistant Professor

Department: Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation

Michael is an Assistant Professor in Physiotherapy, and Programme lead of the MSc (pre-reg) Physiotherapy programme. This role includes teaching, managing the programme and supporting programme enhancement by working with students, governing bodies and external examiners. Michael is an active researcher, focusing on topics such as exercise, exercise adherence and topics related to MSK . He has a degree in Sport and Exercise and Science, two masters degrees (Sport and Exercise Science-Strength and Conditioning pathway; Physiotherapy) two PG Certs (Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy; Learning and Teaching in Professional Practice) and a Phd. He is also a Senior fellow of the HEA and external examiner for MSc (Pre-reg) Physiotherapy programme at Robert Gordon University.
